Decided at last minute to go and do a small grocery shop in a well known German discount supermarket store in the UK on the way after picking up my other half from her work. Grab a shopping bag . Partner agreed to go shopping with me after picking her up. Half way there I just remembered I hadn’t picked up my wallet with bank card. I felt stupid & silly. Getting forgetful far too often and not reached pension age. Anyway , partner offered to pay using her card then I thought wait a minute I use my card for payments online for stuff to be delivered or pay the energy bills using Apple Pay. But I had no idea how to use it instore . So we went straight to the store rather than turn back waste fuel in the car was pretty low anyway on the fuel guage . Got to the store bought what we needed to get . Went to the manned till put the stuff on the conveyor belt then I asked the girl on the till if they do Apple Pay. Low & behold they did . So I was shown what to do point the phone towards the card scanner open up Apple Pay Wallet and double click. I use the passcode in rather than facial recognition. That’s just me . It pinged then it was all paid for from my account. Honestly it was so easy . I rather pay using either cash or bank card but how easy it is to use if you forget to bring your wallet or purse. It saved me time and fuel and trying to transfer money later to my other half’s own account. Especially when the cost of living is tight and she might not have enough to cover the cost of grocery shop. So it’s got its advantages to use Apple Pay. I won’t use it unless I really have to in those circumstances. Just make sure that your phone is well secured.
Apple Pay, the best thing they have ever created
mamameelwebo
Best thing they have ever created, modern and easy to use, when I don’t know where I did my purchase I can see it right way, something the bank doesn’t allow me to see, now we the new update that I can see the balance just pu tapping on the card it shows me where did I spent, how much, if I add some money in or pay the credit card and how much and the update balance of my card so I can see how much money I have left or if I am overdue etc. Secure to use and now that everywhere has Apple Pay, I use it more than the physical card indeed. Everything is on my phone or watch, in my IPad or IMac if I want to do some online purchase and that’s all. Effortless to use and handy. Even by using the card you have a limit to spend on contactless, with Apple Pay, there’s no strict limits and all is secured and sound with Touch ID or Face ID.
Apple Wallet review. Apple Wallet review.

I’m very pleased with my Apple wallet. I like the fact that I can get my cards there my train tickets if I buy them via CrossCountry or Trainline I can add them to the Wallet. I have my Marks & Spencer‘s sparks card on there. I think my co-op membership card I think as well, so it’s an extremely useful tool. It’s all in one place and I understand you could now use your transactions for that account as well. I haven’t done that yet but I think it’s a very good thing if you want to go that far. And I’ve also found out today, having a delivery from Seamagic over the phone or rather I put Online. It showed me that it was going to be delivered today so I think that’s very very good indeed.
Brilliant But i encountered a serious issue with it

I was very pleased with the apple wallet app since it was deployed till yesterday when i needed to access the historical transactions. According to apple the data is kept for 2 years but some how the data isnt there. I needed a particular transaction that the authorities required.. but over 6 moths of data cant be visualises.. its a total mystery.. i cant access it via the mobile phone app and for some reason the apple support couldn’t help because they claimed that the finantial transactions data disappeared because i changed the phone!!!!!.. which is not plausible because i can see up to 4 months before the phone was changed and i cant believe that upgrading an iphone = loss of finantial data. If anyone reads this who can help .. please get in touch I have asked for my finantial data held by apple and still waiting on the reply.
