I am new to Arduino, but am a veteran C/C++ programmer and have done HW level programming in the past. I sometimes notice that the sensor "hangs" without any trace of what is going on. Is "Soft Reset" supposed to solve this issue? (right now I do a full system reset if I detect no temperature change for 2 minutes, that's ok for my application). |

I've not recognized any hanging with the sensor. But I'm not sure that changes to the ASC or the temperature offset are used without a soft reset. In my sketch, the sensor gets a soft reset when the ASC switch changed. |
