Hi Vuk! I played through this game with some friends, and one of my friends had a theory about it being a metaphor for the dissolution of Yugoslavia? Is that true? Love the aesthetic btw! Cardboarddd rules, and another question- Is the brown haired, suicide-afflicted, protagonist supposed to be a self insert or something? Or is it a random dead guy? I couldn't tell whether that was intentional or not, or if it just resembled your persona by accident.
Hi! Dissolution of Yugslavia wasn't on my mind when making the game but I can definitely see it :) and I'm living in one of the countries produced by the breakup, and main guy is inspired by me looks wise tho I am not suicidal, currently at least, thanks for playing!!
Ohhhh sick! I honestly didn't expect my friend's theory to be anything, that's awesome lol. Love your games! Detektiv and Reverend are some of my favs.
Thanks a lot, both Reverend and Detektiv are some of my favorites too as I particularly enjoyed making those 2. I made Reverend at a very low point in my life and it got sme traction and kinda helped me through some of those hard times
So I played the game. It was short and fun? There wasn't much going on but the vibe the game had was pretty awsome. Tho I kinda want/need an explanation on the story. Here's what I've My guess is that we (the player) didn't kill the guy, but it was a suicide. The reason I think that is because, when march 7th pops up we almost instantly (few minutes later) go get wood for the fire, then later we put the story together. Meaning we are the neighbour who was reporting to the police -- like it said we were getting wood and after hearing a bang we pieced it together what happened. And why the pictures show is I think pretty simple. Who wouldn't have pictures popping up in their mind when you saw someone off themselves? And in the intro we touched the gun. That could be an evidence for the police that it was a murder thats why we tried to escape the police and hide from the police. This is just might thinking.
I'll look forward for your new game(s). If you need any help or some sort you can hit me up. (Currently I am learning programming and I'm an author so if its story I can also help with that!)
But what about the note that we can found when we escape from the first building? It says that the person we killed told someone that we were going to do it, so we actually murdered him or what does that mean? Sorry i didn't understand very well :((
Love how you put good voice lines for those characters. Overall, pretty good game. It did not feel much as a horror game but it does fit in the thriller or suspense genre. Keep up the good work!
this game was interesting i loved the style of it and the classic scenes as well. it defiantly has potential ! as it also gave me that creepy cartoon cardboard vibe and a cool town setting and a story based attention! 😀

But if can get serious, to be about to take pieces of things that inspire and put them back together or even just break down an inspiration into bit and put it together differently is an undervalued skill.
You’ve created something seriously unsettling in such a short experience. The atmosphere, the strange locations, and that constant feeling of “something is wrong here” hit HARD. This is exactly the kind of psychological horror that sticks with you after the game ends.
If you see this, just know… you absolutely nailed the vibe.
Also… respectfully… WHAT WAS THAT?! 😭
Everyone go support the developer and show some love for indie horror — this is where some of the creepiest, most creative games come from.
This was such a weird but interesting game! The way the story was told was really unique and creative! Good game! I did get lost, story-wise, when going through the game but that's more so on me! Overall, I enjoyed the game!

Second one (minute 20:59). I liked the sort of story. Some alike existentialist. Jean Paul Sartre flavor.
Excellent game and story.
Thank you very much!
