Cyber Monday is here. To find the best deals in every category, follow all of our Cyber Monday coverage.
While many of this year’s Cyber Monday mattress sales are about the same as you’d see during any sales holiday, there are still some great, better-than-usual deals to be had. Layla, Nolah, and Bear’s sales are particularly noteworthy thanks to an extra discount just for Strategist readers. And Parachute’s rarely on-sale innerspring mattress is discounted more deeply this year than I’ve seen in the past. Below, I’ve rounded up the best mattress deals I’ve found so far; I’ll also be updating this story as new ones appear, so keep checking back if there’s a specific bed you’re eyeing.
The deals I personally think are best
The best deal right now is Parachute’s Eco Comfort mattress — it only goes on sale a few times a year, which is already unusual for a mattress, and never for this low. If you’re interested in a modern version of a classic innerspring mattress — a bed with no foams of any kind — now’s the moment to buy. But if you’re looking for something with more cushion and less bounce, Zinus’s ultrabasic Original Green Tea, an all-foam mattress, is well discounted. It’s a simple mattress but surprisingly comfortable for the price. Our favorite latex mattress — a category that is notoriously expensive — is also nearly 40 percent off.

Amazon
Amazon has noteworthy Cyber Monday deals on several mattress brands. I found the Tuft & Needle Original mattress for cheaper than it is at Tuft & Needle. The older version of the Nectar mattress is on sale for cheaper than the new version, as is the Casper Original mattress, which is currently being phased out. The Kin by Tuft & Needle, the Casper Element, and the Sealy Dreamlife — which are all lower-priced versions of the respective brands’ mattresses that they sell through third-party retailers — are well discounted. There’s also a memory-foam mattress from already-affordable Sweetnight, now under $200, and a latex hybrid from Awara for 20 percent off. I even spotted deals on a few of my favorite mattress toppers from Tempur-Pedic and ViscoSoft.

Amerisleep
Amerisleep sells three fairly standard mattresses, but what sets it apart is the company’s Bio-Pur foam, a memory-foam alternative made from plant-based materials and significantly less petrochemicals than true polyurethane foam. The brand says Bio-Pur foam is also bouncier and more breathable than traditional memory foam. Right now it is offering $500 off any mattress with the code BF500, as well as 30 percent off adjustable bed bundles (and Amerisleep just so happens to make our favorite adjustable bed base).

Aviya
The Aviya is our favorite hybrid mattress. It comes in three firmness levels (plush soft, luxury firm, and firm), making it versatile for a wide range of people. New York deputy editor Alexis Swerdloff tested the luxury-firm model and says it was both supportive and relieved the aches and pains she’s been feeling from previously sleeping on a too-soft mattress. For Cyber Monday, it’s discounted more than usual; use the code FRIDAY250 to take $250 off any size mattress.

Avocado
Avocado is offering discounts on all of its mattresses, no code needed. Most mattresses are only 10 percent off, which is Avocado’s go-to sale; the standout discount right now is 20 percent off the Luxury Organic mattress (the brand’s most expensive and luxurious option). Avocado mattresses are a bit more expensive than average because of the natural and nontoxic materials used to make them — Avocado generally uses latex foam (instead of polyfoams) as well as cotton or wool finishings.

Bear is offering 40 percent off sitewide with the code STRAT40 — that’s an extra 5 percent off its standard deal, just for Strategist readers. Plus, they will throw in two free pillows with each mattress purchase. The brand’s mattresses range from the ultrabasic Bear Original to the luxe Bear Elite Hybrid, but all include the option to add a cover made from Celliant performance fabric, which is intended to promote muscle recovery.

Birch
Use the code STRAT27 for 27 percent off at Birch, and with each mattress purchase, you’ll get two free Eco-Rest pillows — plush down alternatives filled with recycled PET (a.k.a. plastic bottles). Birch makes two adult mattresses, the Birch Natural and a Luxe version, as well as a child’s mattress. Strategist senior writer Liza Corsillo has been sleeping on the Birch Natural for a couple years now and reports it has a solidly medium-firm feel, which works well for both her (a back-to-side combination sleeper) and her stomach-sleeper husband.

Casper
Casper is offering up to 40 percent off all mattresses, so it’s a good time to buy a bed from its new lineup of mattresses that launched earlier this year. Strategist contributor Kiki Aranita is a big fan of the brand’s flagship model, the Casper One, and says it has an ideal middle-of-the-road firmness. The highest discounts are on the priciest models, the Dream Max and Snow Max.

Eight Sleep
The Eight Sleep is another water-powered temperature-regulating system for your mattress. I tested it over the summer, and while spendy, it’s pretty effective — and much sleeker than the Chilipad Dock Pro above. Eight Sleep is offering $250 off the Pod for Cyber Monday. It’s a small discount, but slightly more than what Eight Sleep normally offers.

Helix
Helix is offering up to 27 percent off sitewide with the code STRAT27 and throwing in two free pillows with any mattress purchase, or a bedding bundle of pillows, sheets, and a mattress protector with any mattress purchase from the higher-end Luxe and Elite lines. The brand’s mattresses are sorted into three lines — Core, Luxe, and Elite — which each contain six mattresses ranging from ultrasoft to ultrafirm. The Core mattresses are the cheapest and most minimal; the Elite are the most expensive and extravagant (seriously, they are some of the most luxurious mattresses I’ve seen).

Layla
Layla is offering up to $200 off mattresses and giving you two free pillows with every purchase. Additionally, all accessories you buy along with a mattress (bedding, toppers, etc.) will be discounted by up to 76 percent. And, finally, Layla is offering an extra discount just for Strategist readers — take another $150 off the sale prices with the code STRAT150. Both of the brand’s mattresses are twofers because they are flippable with a soft and a firm side. Strategist writer Tembe Denton-Hurst tested the Layla Hybrid and says that both sides were supportive, but she appreciated the option to flip the mattress because she ultimately preferred the softer side. You can also get Layla’s topper for $100 off.

Molecule
Molecule is offering up to 50 percent off select mattresses with the code BF2024. Naturepedic
Naturepedic makes a wide selection of natural mattresses and bedding items, primarily with latex foam. I’ve tested the brand’s mattress topper and one of its pillows, and Strategist writer Kitty Guo is currently sleeping on the Serenade Organic Hybrid mattress and finds it “perfectly balanced” and fully supportive of her body weight whether she’s sleeping on her back or her side. Naturepedic’s products are expensive, but I think they are good quality. You can take 20 percent off sitewide with the code BLACKFRIDAY.

Nest makes a solid variety of mattresses, including two kids’ mattresses (both of which we’ve tested!). Something unique that Nest offers is internal split king and California king mattresses, which allows couples to customize the firmness of each side of the mattress. But unlike traditional split kings — which are basically two twin XL mattresses pushed together — it’s all within the same mattress. Nest is offering up to 50 percent off mattresses, though most are discounted by about 20 percent.

Parachute
Parachute — known mostly for its bedding and bath items, including some of our favorite sheets and bathrobes — makes just one mattress: the Parachute Eco. And it just so happens to be one of our favorite innerspring models. This bed is made with simple materials: steel pocketed coils, wool padding, and a cotton cover, with no foam in sight. For Cyber Monday, it’s 30 percent off — higher than Labor Day’s 25 percent off discount. This mattress is rarely on sale, so it’s an especially good deal. Parachute’s down and down-alternative toppers — both featured in my guide to the best plush mattress toppers — are also 30 percent off, though some sizes are selling quick.
[Editor’s note: The queen, king, and California king sizes of the down topper are now sold out. The queen size of the down-alternative topper is also sold out.]
